Make your own Fajita Seasoning

Submitted by Ann Kelly

I am always looking for ways to make my own mixes and short cuts. I like making my own spice mixes for several reasons. My son is Gluten Free and most spice mixes have MSG in them which is NOT good for ANY of us but MSG also has gluten in it. I like know exactly what my whole family is eating. I also like to find things like this that I can mix up and put in cute jars, for hostess gifts or teacher gifts etc.

2 tablespoon cornstarch
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon sugar (not pictured)
1 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon cumin

Thanks for this great recipe! I am just a little bit curious, you have the chili powder listed as 24teaspoons. Is that correct? I'm goning to go ahead and make it and scale down the chili powder a bit :)
